Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix — Times Square Campaign Execution
Execution and reliability for a prominent 1552 Broadway display during a globally viewed live event.
As part of Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Remix launch, a coordinated Times Square activation extended the campaign into the physical world, aligning digital billboards with a globally viewed live event featuring a surprise concert from Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice.
At 1552 Broadway, our display operated as a prominent placement adjacent to the primary TSX stage, contributing to the overall visual impact of the campaign in Times Square.
Execution required alignment with a broader multi-screen activation while operating as an independent playback system in a live event environment.

I was responsible for the execution and reliability of the campaign on the 1552 Broadway display, ensuring it performed as intended within the broader Times Square activation.

Playback Verification System
From programming accuracy to live playback confidence: a verification workflow that helps operators and clients understand whether the intended program is running.
Context
At 1552 Broadway, accurate programming starts with translating client submissions into scheduled playlists. I introduced automated playlist checks to catch discrepancies before deployment and make verification repeatable across the team.
A separate visibility gap remained: the client depended on contacting me to confirm what was running, often during business hours. When a webcam used to observe the billboard became unavailable, I developed a monitoring approach that made the players’ operating status available in a browser.
Challenge
A correctly built playlist does not guarantee correct deployment. Both sides of the playback system need the right assets and matching schedules. A playlist can pass QC and still be loaded onto the wrong player.
The challenge was to make those differences visible and actionable, while giving clients and operators a clear way to assess playback status without prolonged observation or a request for clarification.
Role
I identified the operational gaps, defined the verification rules and interface priorities, and directed iterative development and testing through an AI-assisted workflow. My operating experience shaped what the system checked and how it communicated results.
I brought the tools into daily use, trained two colleagues on playlist QC, and introduced the monitoring dashboard as a live pilot for internal evaluation. I remain its primary operator, with the client and colleagues also using the shared view.
Approach
Layer 1 — Verify the programming. Compare client submissions with programmed playlist exports, flagging discrepancies and unmarked revisions before they become deployment problems.
Layer 2 — Monitor the running system. Check the players’ reported schedule and playback alignment, campaign activity, and basic hardware health. A rolling 60-minute verification history gives operators context beyond the current status.
The interface puts the overall operating state first, followed by the details needed to investigate an issue and an indicator showing how recently the data was updated. This supports a quick operational decision while keeping the supporting evidence available.
Outcome
Established QC workflow. The playlist checks caught unflagged client revisions, reduced rework, and became standard practice. I estimate they save several hours of review per week, while giving trained colleagues more confidence when covering programming.
Early monitoring results. The dashboard gives the client and team self-service visibility beyond business hours. In my daily use, assessing the reported operating state takes seconds; the previous visual verification process could require watching up to an hour of playback.
Dashboard status: pilot in live use and undergoing internal evaluation. Monitoring verifies player-reported conditions; visual inspection remains valuable for confirming the physical display’s appearance.
Bucherer Time Machine — Luxury Event & Video Wall Execution
Digital execution for a luxury event environment where visual precision and presentation standards were critical.
Bucherer partnered with Bach Mai and The Frick to support the 2025 Young Fellows Ball, combining physical space, curated visuals, and digital displays within a luxury retail setting.
The work required translating creative direction into a multi-screen digital experience that met exacting luxury brand standards with zero tolerance for visible imperfections.
I was responsible for executing and overseeing the digital display components of the event, including asset preparation, rendering accuracy, and on-site support.
Delivered a polished digital experience aligned with luxury brand expectations, maintaining visual precision across the video wall and supporting displays throughout the event.
